Registration and Content Access


How do I register for a course?

  1. Click on the course name 
  2. Click the red button on the upper right-hand side of the screen that says "Register."  

Trouble Shooting: If the button says "Continue" that means you're registered.


How do I access the live session?

  1. Login to the NYCPG Online Training Center 
  2. Click on the Course Name on the Home Page
  3. Click the Zoom access link (this will not be clickable until the day of the live event)

Trouble Shooting: If the link has a little lock next to it, it either means that the session is not today or that you're not registered yet.  If you're not registered, just click the red "Register" button to unlock the session link.

How do I get my certificate?


Complete ALL Course Requirements

  1. Login to the NYCPG Online Training Center
  2. Go to "My Locker"
  3. Click on the course name
  4. Complete the quiz if the course has a quiz (self-study only)NOTE: You must pass with at least 70%.  If you are not sure if you passed, you can click "My Grades" from this page to see your score.  You will not be able to move forward to get your certificate if you have not passed the quiz.
  5. Complete the General Course Evaluation.  *NOTE: You'll need to answer all of the questions in order to move forward.
  6. Complete the CE Evaluation. 
  7. Refresh your page or go to "My Locker" where you will find your certificate.

Continuing Education Hours


Each course offered through the NYCPG Online Training Center is individually evaluated for CASAC/CPP/CPS, Social Work, Mental Health and IGCCB continuing education clock hours.  To search courses by CE, use the Course Catalog button, click "View More" on the type of course you want to take and then you'll be able to search the courses by type of CE offered.

All NYCPG trainings satisfy the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (NYS OASAS) requirements for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and Credentialed Prevention Provider (CPP) with gambling specialty designation clock hours. 

NYCPG is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0345. 

NYCPG is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed mental health counselors #MHC-0211.
