Registration and Conference Information


Question: What are the dates of the conference?

Answer: The Annual NYCPG Conference will be held in person on Tuesday, March 5th – Thursday, March 7th. Tuesday there will be a Veteran Symposium in the afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday will have full day agendas.

Question: What's included in my registration?

Answer: Registration includes CEU’s for the sessions you attend as well as participation in our recovery meetings. Lunch will be provided on both days.

Question: I was approved for a scholarship for the conference, how do I get my coupon code?

Answer: If you are approved for a scholarship, you will receive a coupon code from the staff member who approved it. If you did not receive a code, reach out to the staff member you spoke to.

Question: What happens after I register?

Answer: You will receive a confirmation email with the details of the conference. We'll see you in Albany, NY on March 5-7, 2024.

Question: Where will the conference be held?

Answer: The conference will be held at the Albany Marriott, 189 Wolf Road, Albany NY 12205.

Question: How do I get the room block rate for the hotel?

Answer: You can access the room block rate here: HERE.

Question: Is there parking available at the hotel?

Answer: Yes, the Marriott Albany has free parking available for those attending the conference.

Question: Will there be a virtual option for the conference?

Answer: This year the NYCPG conference will be in person only. However, we always have opportunities for continued learning on our training site with self-paced courses and live webinars offered throughout the year. NYCPG Training Center

Question: Why do I need a login?

Answer: The conference website will be used for conference evaluations and will be where you get your certificates.

Question: Is there a deadline for registration?

Answer: There is no deadline for registration.

Certificates and Credits


Question: What kind of credits are available?

Answer: All conference sessions will be reviewed for OASAS CASAC/CPP/CPS, LMHC, CARC?CRPA, IGCCB and social work continuing education. The available type of credit for each session will be indicated on the Agenda page.

Question: How do I get my certificate?

Answer: Your certificates from the in-person conference will be available on the conference website. After you participate in the live session, you will have access to a brief survey in your account. When you complete the survey, your certificate will be accessible in your account.

Question: If I cannot stay for a whole session will I still get credit?

Answer: You are expected to attend the full session to receive credit.

Question: Can I get one certificate for the whole conference?

Answer: No. Certificates will only be given for each individual session.

Post Conference Content


Question: Will the presentations be recorded?

Answer: No. The conference will be in person and sessions will not be recorded.

Question: Will we be able to get copies of the presentations?

Answer: Copies of the presentations will be available to all conference registrants after the event. An email will be sent out post-event with access information.
